Meet Your School Nurses

Nurse Parrish (RN, BSN, NCSN) District Nurse

I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. After working in many different areas of nursing, I became a part of the Indian family in 2002 as your school’s District Nurse.  In 2007 I became certified as a National Board Certified School Nurse. One of my biggest honors was being voted 2008 West School Nurse Association of the Year by my fellow school nurses.

Sherry Casnel (BSN, RN) District Nurse
I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. For the past 20 years, I have been employed as a registered nurse at the University of MS Medical Center. During my employment, I was fortunate to work in numerous areas of healthcare. I’m proud to be a part of the Hazlehurst City School District team. You can contact
